'Ayesha' Hydrangea

A hydrangea with a difference - it is unusual amongst hydrangeas in that it is mildly scented. It has delicate waxy pink or mauve flowers somewhat like a lilac (that fade to blue in acidic conditions), with petals which look like tiny little spoons. Abundant blooms and leaves have a waxy consistency, different to most hydrangeas. Plant in sun or light shade in moist but well-drained soils. In alkaline soils flowers can be blue. Height and spread up to 2x2 m. 3 litre container, 40-50 cms tall plants. Please note: items displayed on this website may not be in stock in each of our shops.
