Japanese silver grass, eulalia 'Gracillimus'

One of the most popular varieties of Miscanthus. It is a compact, clump forming deciduous grass with narrow, arching leaves with white midribs. The silky, purple-tinged flower heads appear in late summer which  mature to silver and provide great winter interest. It provides a great focal point in the garden. Eventual height 6ft tall and 4ft across. It is drought and salt tolerant. Cut back in early spring before new foliage appears.
