A wonderfully scented plant for early summer with tiny leaves. The scent from this plant is hard to identify and utterly lovely - though the flowers are only in bloom for a few short weeks. However, this shouldn't put you off planting it - its scent more than earns its keep in any garden. This is a compact variety, making it suitable for small or medium-sized gardens. It can grow to approximately 120 cms high by approx 150cms wide. Tolerant of most garden conditions, it enjoys sun or light shade and moist but well-drained soil. When established it is tolerant of heavy or clay soils. Older and established plants can be kept looking good by chopping out up to a third of the woodiest shoots, from the base, each year. This will retain the arching, graceful shape and encourage blooms. This can be done after flowering. 3 litre container, 30-40cm tall plants. Please note, items displayed on this website may not be available in each of our shops.
