Japanese quince 'Toyo Nishiki'

Quince is a cross between a climber and a shrub - in other words, it's a shrub that grows best against a wall or trellis. This variety has pale pink / red / salmon flowers. Quinces are easy-to-grow and hardy shrubs, mainly planted for early spring flowers. They flower best in full sun, but tolerate partial shade. Best planted against a fence, railing or wall. Pruning or trimming may be necessary - do this after flowering. The yellow-green fruits are nicely scented and have culinary uses.. 60-80cms tall plants in a 3 L container. Please note, items displayed on this website may not be available in each of our shops.
