Wild strawberry, Alpine strawberry

A native plant which can be found in the hedgerows around the country. It is semi-evergreen and produces small, very sweet strawberries that can be eaten straight from the plant. It likes a sunny or semi-shady spot in the garden with damp soil, where it will produce fruit from early summer to late autumn.  Small plant in a 9cm pot.
