'Fascination' chinese birch

'Fascination' is a medium-sized, slender birch tree with beautiful peeling bark. A darker, almost red layer contrasts nicely with paler, even white bark beneath. Younger branches are darker and more mature bark is white, making this tree 'fascinating'. It is an easily-grown tree, suitable for most situations, and good is small to medium gardens. It is used most famously in Ireland in Helen Dillon's beautiful front garden in Ranelagh. Ultimate size 7metres +. 8ft tall plants. Plants displayed on this website may not be available in each of our shops.
