Chives

Tasty herb most often used in salads and soups or as a garnish. The flowers can also be eaten. Chives can be cut down to ground level after blooming, and this will encourage them to reflower. Great in containers in a sunny spot. Chive plants are often used as an edging plant in vegetable gardens.  Plant in a sunny spot in well-drained to normal soil. Cut down to ground level in winter. Easily divided. Small plant in a 9cms container.
