Fennel

A tall, airy herb with green, feathery foliage, which produces flat flowerheads of yellow flowers in summer. Grow in a sunny, well-drained spot, and cut down to the ground during the winter. All parts are edible. Tastes as good as it looks. A very easy plant, that doubles as an ornamental. Seeds easily. Plants are sold in a small 9cms pot.
