The Shop This Summer (so far)
When you run a shop you realise that it's 'new' things that keep it exciting. It's fun for us as shopkeepers to find, order and unpack something that we're just getting to know. It it makes it interesting for the customer to see something different every time they stop by. The last couple of months have seen more and more 'new' things appear in the shop, including plants, pots, tools, ornaments and gadgets.

One of the new pots from Urbis Design: these stunning pots are large enough for anything and come in a range of shapes, sizes and finishes.

A tall trough made by Artstone. The two pots above were on a city centre balcony garden that we 'refreshed' with new planters and pots.

Phlomis russeliana

Delphimium hybrid in an unusual shade of mauve.

Digitalis 'Spice Island'

Sidalcea 'Wine Red'

Hanging copper bird feeder, made in Co Wexford.

Our very popular 'Provencal' café table and chairs; they fold up so are perfect for people with limited storage space.

Oak planters, made in Germany. Thay could also be used as 'mini-ponds' as they are water-tight unless drilled at the base.

New range of useful signs, specially comissioned by us and made in a small ceramic factory in Germany. Our 'No junk mail please' sign was comissioned as so many customers asked for a sign with the word 'please'!

Swiss-made oscillating hoe. We think that we are the only shop in Dublin to sell these very practival weeding tools.

Our 'Lily Bowl' mini-pond from Urbis. A whole pond in a pot!

Summer agian!
