How not doing things can be positive

Faced with worrying gloom over our environment, it's natural to feel powerless, as individuals, to bring about meaningful change.

The problems feel too big for any individual to tackle. Yet society is ultimately made up of individuals, and our personal consumption and habits do have collective effect. As gardeners, or indeed anyone with a patch of land, balcony or even windowsill under our care, there is much we can do to make the world a healthier place.

New stock, Dunboyne, 16 Jan 2019

dunboyne jan.jpgOur Dunboyne shop has more space than our other shops, and has a superb variety of indoor and outdoor plants. Manager Declan Murphy has a keen eye for special plants, and you will find rare gems as well as practical, useful plants that will will work well in the colder climate of Co Meath. This week's delivery comes fresh from another Irish nursery, meaning that the plants are hardy and strong, and support skilled Irish jobs.
