We received more than three deliveries of plants to our Airfield shop, Dundrum this week. One of them from a new nursery in Kildare with some interesting ferns, bamboos, shrubs and perennials. Looking particularly good on this delivey are the Cistus, Penstemons and larger tree ferns.
We have found it hard to source Dierama or Angel's Fishingrods the past few years. But we have finally found a new supplier from Co. Wexford who grows many varieties of them. Also looking good in our Monkstown shop at the moment are Cosmos and Penstemon, which are bursting with buds.
Roses are one of the most popular fragrant and floriferous plants for the garden. We just received a large delivery of them in our Airfield shop. Many of them are available in our online shop right now.
Looking good this week in our Airfield shop are many varieties of Geraniums, Salvia, grasses, Corydalis and Agapanthus. One of the deliveries this week was from a nursery in Co. Kildare, filled with Agapanthus, bamboos and shrubs.
We're nearly in the middle of summer and plants are flourishing with the rain we've had and rising temperatures. We've just received a delivery from a nursery in Wicklow. Looking especially good are the Peonies, Thalictrum and Astilbes.
