'Connover's Colossal' asparagus

This is a tried and tested asparagus variety that was first introduced in the 1800s.  Known for its high yield, reliability and fine flavour, it is considered the best, or at least one of the best, asparagus varieties. Don't harvest in year 1, and then take only a small amount in year 2. For well-drained soil in sun - it's worth the wait. Plants supplied in 9cms pots.
